We loved our stay at Hotel Cavour. The position is walking distance to Duomo and MM Turati. The reception - which was highly criticized in other reviews - is indeed very old fashion but in a lovely stylish way. Much more better than modern aseptic hotels. The room on the other side was full of all comforts: lights, plugs, minibar, safe, slippers, amazing shower. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet. The personnel at the reception, in particular the young lady who welcomed us at arrival, was very kind. Room was spotless clean and my husband enjoyed the bar.

Breakfast has quite various fresh fruits and I enjoyed very much. Location is Ok, and hotel staff is nice. Though they couldn't prepare twin beds, they changed right away at the moment of my check-in. I reserved exclusive room but first allocation is not same like picture, however they changed room right away as well. 2 ladies enjoyed to stay 3 night in exclusive room, good space to have big bathroom, closet, table for make-up, small sofa, nice bed.

Good room. Quiet and clean. Easy access to the city centre. The bar was very convenient for us to enjoy and had good opening times. Buffet breakfast with access to the garden and relaxed. Service was quick and the scramble eggs very tasty.

The rooms were great, we stayed in two different kinds since we extended our stay. The beds are comfortable and pretty big. Everything was super clean and even had perfume when we came in. They offer two small water bottles and they provide a kettle if you want to make yourself coffee/tea. The staff were all very professional and happy to help with anything you needed, most of them spoke English too. Breakfast was great, varied selection of pastries, eggs, bacon, fruits, juices, etc. It's on the first floor, accesible by stairs. Wifi here was great too, props to their IT team.

Hotel Cavor was a great stay in Milan. Yes hotel is a bit dated but it was clean and had its own character and staff were nice. Rooms were big and clean. Lovely big window to let natural light and air in. Hotel is in a wonderful position we walked from the train station to our accommodation and it wasn't a problem at all. Breakfast was included while it wasn't a huge spread it was more than adequate, all our group had satisfying breakfasts. We were walking distance from many wonderful restaurants, shops and tourist attractions. Would definitely recommend this hotel if staying in Milan.

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. We were within walking distance to the Cathedral and also close enough to other neighborhoods for local dining. This hotel has updated rooms, unfortunately ours was not. The room could have been a little bit bigger for comfort. Overall, we were happy.
